Adding gradable activities to an eBook makes learning more interactive and fun! These activities let students answer questions directly within the eBook, and their answers can be graded automatically. This helps teachers track progress easily while making learning engaging for students.
Here’s how you can add a gradable activity in your eBook using Kitaboo’s widget markup:
Click on the Kitaboo Widget Markup
- Start by selecting the Kitaboo Widget markup option in the Authoring platform.
- This option allows you to place interactive activities like quizzes and more into your eBook.
Enter the Kitaboo Widget Name
- Type the name of the activity you want to create.
- This name will help you easily identify the activity later.
Show the Kitaboo Widget Icon
- Uncheck the box that says “Hide Kitaboo Widget icon on the screen.”
- This makes sure the activity icon is visible to students on the eBook page, so they know where to click.
Search for the Activity Keyword
- Use the search bar to find the type of activity you want.
For example, if you want a quiz, type “quiz” in the search bar.
Select the Activity
- When you see the search results, use the radio button to choose the activity you want.
This ensures that the right activity is selected for your eBook page.
Finalize the Selection
- Click on the Done button to confirm your choice.
This step locks in the activity, making it ready for students to use.
Save Your Changes
- Switch to another page or click the Save button.
This saves the activity you added, so it’s ready for students to interact with.
