Creating a Collection

Users may sometimes prefer to access content of similar nature or the content spread out in
multiple series in a group. Kitaboo enables you to create a collection of digital content for
such users. Let’s see how to create a collection.

1. Sign in with your Enterprise Admin credentials.

2. Switch to the Contents tab. > Click on Collections.

3. Click on the Start New Project button.

4. Click on Create. The Collection button will appear selected by default.

5. On the Create Collection Page, select the Titles (content) you want to display under one collection. > Provide a name to your collection. > Select the Restricted to Teacher checkbox(es) against the titles, if you want to restrict access to a title to teachers.

6. If you want the titles to appear on the Reader in a different order, reshuffle them like you do in a drag & drop activity.Click on Select cover. > Select any of the options related to the cover image.> Click on Save.

7. Click on Create.

8. You can see the collection you have just created.

9. You can also edit or delete a collection. If you want to edit a collection: Click on the More options icon against the collection you want to edit. > Select the Edit option. > Do the desired edit. > Click on Update.

10. If you want to delete a collection: Click on the More options icon against the collection you want to delete. > Select the Delete option. > Confirm your decision by clicking on Yes, Delete it. > Click on Update

11. If you want to know more about a collection: Click on the More options icon against the collection you want to know more about. > The More Info pop-up will appear on the screen.

12.To update a Collection Reference ID:

Click on the Update Collection Reference ID option icon against the respective collection. A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the new Reference ID and click on the Update button to save the changes.
