Q26.How does the Multiple Admin Edit feature work, and what are its limitations?

Answer: The Multiple Admin Edit feature enables admins—other than the original content creator to collaborate on editing supported content types such as eBooks, ePubs, Audiobooks, and Videobooks, based on the content’s current status (e.g., Converted, Live, Archived). However, there are important limitations to keep in mind:

  • ✅ Allowed actions include Edit, Preview, Enrich (for eBooks only), Publish,  Upload Cover and Upload Test Generator but only when the content is 100% Converted, Live, or Archived.
  • ❌ All actions are restricted during intermediate states like Converting, Publishing, or Archiving (e.g., 70%, 80%).
  • ❌ Cross-admin editing is not supported for Fixed ePub, Author ePub, SCORM, eCourse, and Liquid Books. Only the original content creator can manage these.
  • ❌ Revert and Delete options are restricted to the content creator, even if the content is in an editable state.

This feature ensures content security while enabling collaborative workflows on specific content types and statuses.

Note: If a user logs in from multiple systems or browsers, the old session will be logged out automatically to ensure account security and prevent conflicting actions.
